Gail, Ashland group
The year of the Covid 19 pandemic saw the death of my husband, though he was not infected with the virus. Instead of family and well-wishers congregating for his transition, we spent it alone. He had lost his ability to speak and was unable to communicate his wishes but I could see in his eyes the knowing that the end of his life on earth was near and he was calm. He had many noble qualities and had finished his work here.
The pandemic, though frightful, has allowed me to pare down the excesses of daily life and a busy calendar. I am spending more alone time, experiencing silence and less busyness, enjoying beauty more, and allowing the quietude to be internal. My Zoom world (social life) has been enhanced by teachers in the Jivana program, Acarya, and Kristin, Devon and Laura and Lisa. it is with gratitude that I acknowledge their support and love.
