Impressions from Year Two Review Week

Adarsha Ārya’s memorable presentation of this subhāṣita comes to mind:
kaḥ kālaḥ kāni mitrāṇi ko deśaḥ ko vyayāgamau |
kasyāhaṃ kā ca me śaktiḥ iti cintyaṃ muhurmuhuḥ ||
Muhurmuhuh, has a meaning of, again and again.
This word ends a beautiful subhāṣita by Cāṇakya, which brought moments of laughter as the tongue twisted and twirled in an attempt to meet the mind’s request to pronounce it.
The first part of the subhāṣita relates to the importance of contemplating, again and again on ‘time’.
Understanding time, a moment in time, can support our proper use of an opportunity appearing at our doorstep.
Upon waking, a moment before falling asleep, during periods of transition within the day, nature provides many such opportunities which could potentially support our journey.
