Bhagavad-gītā Retreat, Porcupine Castle, Coorg, November 2017
Post from Alakaa
These words echo what Ācāryaji said on 15th Oct 2017 ekādaśī, when he went into a transcendental state and said:
Bhagavad-Gītā Jayanti (birth anniversary of Gītā), which annually falls on Mokṣada Ekādaśī (11th day of the Light phase of the moon in the month of Mārgaśīrṣa*, the lunar month spanning Nov-Dec) this year it is on 29th November 2017.
On this sacred day, let us quiet our human system through minimal words, thoughts and actions. And let us minimize our food intake so we can divert our energy from apana (digestive process) to prana and experience the bliss of the Great Light within.
*Sri Krishna says in the Gītā, out of all of the months “I am Mārgaśīrṣa”. So it is a special month to go within….
