Review Weekend Retreat, June

Jivana Yoga Retreat Weekend in Sintra
This is a beautiful time of year in Sintra, cool and sunny. Jonathan and Stacey’s place is a paradise. Stacey’s garden is in full bloom, green and overflowing everywhere.
I feel very fortunate to be here and more so for the retreat. The retreat was so many things. Early, middle and late meditations, and the whole practice with Jonathan – he is so good, silence and discussions and laughter. Acharya’s videos were viewed twice a day. They were from 2011 in Ashland, and Acharya was so very passionate, serious and funny, and that atmosphere extended into the retreat. We all seemed to follow him.
We had two hikes, one to a view, which is a challenge and one to a haunted castle 🙂 J.P. was a little afraid but we protected him. Some brave ones even went swimming afterwards. Whatever it was we were doing, it was in a group which was so meaningful here. It is the most refreshing gift to be with a group like this, that has such dedication to the teachers and to discover the truth in a loving way.
Slow and steady wins the race!
