I am grateful to each and everyone of you, for your open-hearted sharing.
It makes my heart sing to hear about your experiences.
I am a 52 year old, married, mother of two teenage girls, who is a caregiver to the elderly. I also hold space for our Jivana Yoga Group here in Ashland, Oregon.
Acharya, the teachings, and our yoga community have been a palpable support during these challenging times.
Covid has been a wonderful teacher in my life.
There have been some noticeable external shifts of losing some small businesses in our town, personal loss of household income, teenagers doing online school from home, and caring for an elderly population that is increasingly isolated and lonely.
Simultaneously, this experience has encouraged me to live more simply, to be in the present moment, become more at peace with death, to learn from Nature, to be less attached, and be more flexible. It has taught me to live more fully from a place of love and gratitude, to find ease and contentment with living in the unknown and has grown my capacity for humility.
This virus has been an accelerator of sorts… nudging me towards freedom.
Because of Acharya‘s wisdom and grace, my capacity for faith is growing.
I have faith that no matter how the external story plays out, it is exactly what is meant to happen for my Soul’s journey Home.
Big Love ~
