During this time of Covid, I reflect upon where I am too selfish, and am making an effort to show kindness to the birds, animals, insects; to nurture the trees that have been planted; to practice the remedies.
I’ve observed when touch is timely and nurturing; and I look back and recognize when it was superfluous.
My husband, consistently supportive of my own practice, has begun to practice with me. This is the most precious gift.
As home and family life is filled with more ease, my work has increased and I am continually challenged to tap into compassion, patience, neutrality, and detachment. Employed as a nurse, I work specifically with those who have tested positive for the coronavirus. My role is to support them as they navigate their illness and personal experience with the coronavirus.
Although there have been moments of strain, sadness, and grief, these moments exist in a larger landscape of ease and nourishment. I feel grateful for the this time.
My heartfelt gratitude to Ācārya for your wisdom and guidance.
