Dear Aspirants,
We all share the wealth of yoga through these true yogic teachings. This is never more evident than when in India receiving the teachings directly from Ācārya. Here are a few quotes from last years retreat to inspire ~
“Show mercy and compassion to anyone who is troubled.
As a result of that you are going to get some blessings, or you will be endowed with perfection.
Slowly all that you have lost in your system, you are going to get back. Indirectly you are gaining what is lost.
It is the blessing of this universe.
Whatever we do that is noble, we’ll get more and more strength.
Whatever we do that is ignoble, we are going to slowly lose our capacities.”
“A realized alone will understand what is the value of this human system.
If someone is in trouble, he will think,
‘What a wonderful human system he is possessing which is in trouble; let me support.’
This thought is the base for compassion. That compassion will not be shown by a common man. Why?
Because they have not fully understood the real value of this human system.
That is why normally a saying is there that “Only a realized soul can show the real compassion to others.”
To understand the depths of these teachings can take time while at the same time, we feel an intrinsic connection, or knowing when we are exposed to them. Each of us embodies these truths, they are inherent to all, though in our ignorance and conditioning we may be blind to them. And yet, it is our good fortune which has led us to a true source of compassion…
