Post from Chaaya
Bhagavad-Gītā Retreat, Porcupine Castle, Coorg 2018
My mind keeps going back to what Ācārya shared about yajña.
We have to honer the “Gods and Goddesses” (the energies) in our bodies or they wouldn’t support us. If your nose is running, you shouldn’t think that it is your noses fault that it is doing that. It is due to some incorrect action on your part, that has provoked excess kapha in your system. If you honer your nose, and your whole body, then it will support you. To honer your nose or your body, use it in a meaningful and correct way to support you in your journey to Enlightenment. Instead of cursing your body for the things that it can’t do, bless it for the things that it can do. This, in its truest form, is worship.
